Yesterday I wrote an article about living for the weekend…….and decided to practice what I preach. A group of us from the Optimist Club (Dominica) visited the Jungle Bay Resort and Spa….I heard about the resort from my friends, who visited there sometime last year and they all gave it such great reviews…… this would be a prefect opportunity to see first hand what everyone been talking about and to be able to just (Rejuvenate)… me time. Upon arrival to Jungle Bay….I can only say that “you need to experience this resort for yourself…..and I believe if I attempt to describe Jungle Bay, I might not justify its natural beauty”.
But here goes……Jungle Bay is constructed from volcanic stone and wood which was reclaimed, then carefully placed to preserve its natural surrounding. All the furniture and fittings (e.g. beds, tables, chairs, mirror frames, towel holders and other fine woodwork) was built by the local construction team from Cedar.
Bottom Line
Rooms are $199 in the off-season to $249 in season, meal included. Jungle bay,(767) 446 -1789. Pointe Mulatre, Dominica. Website:junglebaydominica.com
