Integrity Act?
Leader of the PDM William Para Riviere said the delay in implementing the Integrity Act was unjustified, especially; based on Government claim it couldn’t afford it.

New Water Rates Postponed
DOWASCO (Dominica Water and Sewage Company) – said that the proposed increase in sewerage & water rates is being delayed and revised.

Prime Minister Skerrit has been in the Carib Territory to further assess the impact of Hurricane Dean.

Community Policing
5 communities will be the first to benefit from a new community policing programme, with 42 villages being the target by the end of the year.

MPs pay not increased
Speaker of the House said salaries of Parliamentarians have yet to be increased. She said Government, have to approve and pass legislation. Their pay has not changed since the late 1990s.
