Rainforest Adventures Dominica as this new rain forest adventure called the Gorge Zip Challenge, and it’s the highest zip line in the southern Caribbean.
The six-platform zip line course offers three adrenaline-pumping lines that glide through the rainforest canopy.
Visitors receive a safety briefing and orientation from the park’s top station, and then take a short walk to the first platform and a 125 ft zip line. The second zip line (250 ft) takes riders higher yet and is followed by a 40 ft rappel to the ground.
The highlight of the experience is the Gorge Zip Challenge: an 810 ft cable suspended over Breakfast River Gorge, a 350-foot cavernous drop flourishing with plants and waterfalls. Do you DARE cross it?
Gorge Zip Challenge in Dominica is definitely something that you might want to consider once you’ve decided to visit the Nature Island. It’s bout as close as you can get to actually flying. The views are incredible from the top of the park’s top station, and zip lining down over the gorge to the bottom is a very surreal experience.
