Amazing Dominica island Sunset

No matter the season, there’s nothing quite like watching the blazing sun drop below the Caribbean blue horizon.

It’s amazing to see the blue sky burn into radiant shades of yellow, red, orange, and purple before the light goes out.

Dominica’s west coast has countless places to watch this gorgeous scene but here are waterfront hotels and restaurants you can consider the next time you’re out looking for the perfect end to your day.

Excerpt from item 175 of “Dominica 100 + Things to Do” Booklet (2010):

Relish the moment at Evergreen Hotel or the Achorage Hotel in Castle Comfort; Titiwi Inn in Citronnier just south of Roseau; on the Bay Front at the Fort Young Hotel’s Waterfront Restaurant or up the coast at Tamarind Tree Hotel in Macoucherie; or the following in Picard: Picard Beach Wellness Eco-centre; Le Flambeau Restaurant at the Portsmouth Beach Hotel, Bar De Champ, or Sister’s Sea Lodge, just to name a few.

On a clear day, watch for that famous “green flash” – and make a wish!

Zam Zam’s in Citronier is a great little bar right on the beach with fantastic
sunset views too.

You are right Fiona, Zam Zam’s bar is a great location to view fantastic Dominica sunsets while drinking a cold kubuli beer 🙂
